Kruger Park 2013
I recently went on holiday to the Kruger National Park for 2 weeks with my parents (Some quality time with the family) We stayed at Berg-en-Dal, Skukuza, Satara + Lower Sabie We were lucky to have experienced great sightings, some once in a lifetime! We saw the "Big 5" as well as wild dogs, but no cheetahs this year :( I had such a great time + I am missing it already... A big thanx to Latest Sightings for regular updates on what's been spotted + where!

WE SPOTTED THIS ELLEPHANT ON OUR WAY FROM SATARA TO TSHOKWANE. ITS TUSKS SEEMS TO BE GROWING THE WRONG WAY/LOOSE?

IT ALL HAPPENED SO FAST! MY MOM SAW A LION, I REVERSED, I SAW A BUCK CROSSING THE ROAD IN THE MIRROR(CHASED BY A LION), WE CAME TO A STOP NEXT TO WHERE THE BUCK HAD CROSSED…
SUDDENLY 5 LIONS JUMPED THE BUCK, EACH TRYING TO GET A BITE AND TAKING OFF IN ALL DIRECTIONS! (I CAN STILL HEAR THE GROWLING NOISES)
THE POOR BUCK HAD NO CHANCE!
